Rwanda is gearing up for a spectacular musical experience as East Africa’s celebrated icon, Dr Jose Chameleone, arrives in Kigali ahead of his much-anticipated live concert.

Touching down at Kigali International Airport on the of Friday morning, May 23, 2025, the legendary Ugandan artist is ready to light up the stage with a performance fans have long been waiting for.

Chameleone, whose real name is Joseph Mayanja, will headline “Jose Chameleone Live in Kigali” this Sunday, May 25, at the vibrant Kigali Universe, with all signs point to an electrifying event that promises to bring the city.

The concert marks a powerful return for the artist, whose show was originally scheduled for late 2024 but had to be postponed due to health concerns.
