Bugesera, Rwanda Press, July 22, 2023 – Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame on Saturday gifted Inyambo cows to his visiting counterpart President Sassou Nguesso of Congo Brazzaville.
President Nguesso is in the country for a 3-day state visit which he started on Friday. Kagame gifted Nguesso Inyambo cows after they toured his farm located in Kibugabuga, Bugesera District, Eastern Rwanda at President Kagame’s country home.
In Rwanda, cows are an integral part of Rwandan culture, so much so that for many, it is impossible to imagine a Rwanda without cows.
